Support
Need help with Beacon? Email us at support@beaconcalendar.com and we’ll get back to you as soon as we can. Answers to the most common questions are below.
My alarm didn't ring
- Make sure Beacon has alarm permission: open iOS Settings, find Beacon, and check that alarms are allowed.
- Check that the event matches one of your rules, or that you added an alarm to it manually. Events with a bell badge in the Today view have an alarm scheduled.
- Beacon alarms ring through Silent mode and Do Not Disturb, but the ringer volume is controlled by iOS. Make sure your volume is turned up.
- If alarms still seem out of sync, open Settings in the app and tap “Sync All Alarms”.
Beacon can't see my calendar or events
- Beacon needs Full Calendar Access. You can grant it in iOS Settings under Privacy & Security, then Calendars.
- Beacon reads events from the iOS Calendar app. Google, Outlook, and other accounts must be added to your iPhone’s calendar for Beacon to see them.
- Check that the calendar is enabled in Beacon’s calendar list, since individual calendars can be toggled on and off.
Managing your subscription
- Subscriptions are handled by Apple. To manage or cancel, open iOS Settings, tap your name, then Subscriptions.
- Reinstalled the app or got a new phone? Your subscription is tied to your Apple Account and restores automatically.
- Refunds are handled by Apple. You can request one at reportaproblem.apple.com.
